Great alerts, limited range

After a week of use, the Sense-U Pro has been dependable for breathing/motion alerts and rollover/temperature notifications. Setup took ~10 minutes and the app is straightforward. The biggest caveat is range: in our house the Bluetooth struggles through walls—same-room works best. We solved this by leaving an old phone/tablet in the nursery running the app, which eliminated drops. False alarms were minimal after we centered the clip and snugged the diaper. Not a medical device, but as an extra layer of awareness it’s excellent—just plan for the same-room Bluetooth or a nearby device or get the long range version.

The Sense‑U Pro Baby Breathing Monitor has been a reassuring extra layer of monitoring for us during sleep times. The updated clip design makes it easier to attach securely to the diaper, and once you get the placement right it stays put without digging into baby’s tummy. I like that it tracks breathing movement, rollover, and temperature together. I do wish I had gone with the long‑range version, as it would give more flexibility around the house, but the regular one works well when you’re close enough for the connection to hold. The app is straightforward to use, but sometimes it crashes and closes on its own so you don’t get phone notifications - the device itself stays active with vibration and audible alerts, which is a good backup.
There is still a bit of a learning curve and we’ve had occasional alerts when the diaper was very loose, but following the fit guidelines closely has helped. Battery life has been solid for multiple nights on a charge, and the monitor itself is small and light enough that it doesn’t bother baby or add bulk for travel. It’s definitely not a replacement for safe‑sleep practices or checking on baby in person, but it has given us noticeable extra peace of mind.
