Solid router after a few firmware updates

I have had this router for around 4 weeks. To be honest, the first week or two weren't great. The router was not stable. And the first two firmware updates did little to change things. I was on the verge of returning it, but wanted to give it a real try try since my other two Asus routers have been great (still running).
Finally the last firmware upgrade two weeks ago seemed to have addressed all the stability and performance issues. It has been rock solid since.
Starting with the cons:
Asus probably should not release the router with bad firmware.
Very long boot times (much longer than my AX88U Pro or even my AX57)
I have had to factory reset my router after every firmware upgrade so far to get it performing correctly, which is something I have not had to do with my other Asus routers. I am loathe at thinking about updating again, since It's running so great now.

Pros:
Once running with a stable firmware, it has been rock solid.
The range I have to say is now phenomenal, and I am getting at least triple the speeds of my old router in the far reaches of my home. Response times for my wifi security cameras are nearly instantaneous, when they used to require a second or two to respond.

If the router had performed like this out of the box, I would have given it a full five stars, would be raving about, and recommending to all my friends and family.
If you are tech savvy, and willing to work through the firmware teething stuff, I would still recommend it, especially at the sale price I got it at.

Amazing router. The range is perfect for our large home, able to keep wifi strength in any room.

Asus Legacy Router

Love this router! Gives my whole house a very strong wifi signal even on 5ghz for the devices that are capable of using 5ghz.
I would recommend this to a friend!
