What a GREAT printer! It is exactly what I need for my home office!

I love this printer! I like that it is lightweight and easy to use. It is so easy to connect. I love that I can easily print from my phone, home pc and my work pc, just by connecting to the wifi! I love that it is so small and really doesn't take up a lot of space. I should mention that I was sent a free sample to use for this review. I especially love that the ink cartridges should last me a long time, as I don't print a whole lot. Although, after researching the cost of replacement ink cartridges I may look for more things to print. I love that I can so easily scan to my phone. I know that feature will probably be used frequently!

This compact multi-function printer is great! I was provided one for this review and it's now my primary home printer. It's not my first Canon as I also have a Pro9000 that I use for photo printing.
But for general printing, copying, or scanning, this little wonder is perfect.
Unboxing and setup was super easy and with the small form factor, there were many spots in my office where it could go. To be honest, with the size and the fact that it is a wireless printer, it could also be set up in a different room like a family room or kitchen if desired.
Once set up, the printer was impressive. Standard quality prints came out very fast. Even high quality photo prints, while slower, still came out quicker than other printers I've had. I tested printing from my desktop PC, laptop, tablet, and cell phone and all were seamless and quick. A feature I particularly like is the auto 2-sided printing. No need to manually flip the paper over and figure out which direction to feed it to avoid it coming out upside down.
I tested the scanner and it was also smooth. You can either scan from the flatbed or use the paper feeder for multiple pages. No issues, and the intuitive color screen makes learning how to use the features easy.
The only thing missing from this printer is a fax feature. It's not that big of a deal as faxing in this day and age seems archaic, but just pointing it out as there are still many companies that still receive faxes. So if faxing is important to you, look elsewhere.
Overall, extremely happy with this small, attractive printer and recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality multi-function printer that is surprisingly easy to use considering the many features.

I received the Canon PIXMA TS8820 to evaluate and review. After using it for a few weeks I have found that the printer really does a nice job of printing both black and white and color. The set-up was remarkably easy, which is always a plus for us older, less tech savvy people. Inserting/changing the ink wasn't hard to do. Overall it is a pretty nice printer and I would absolutely recommend it to anybody.

I have received the Canon PIXMA TS8820 printer as a test product. It is a very nice looking printer, it also is very easy to set up and use. I was able to set it up and start printing in minutes. This printer has a touch screen that works very well. I really like how easy to use it is, even when I am in a hurry. I can connect my smartphone, desktop, laptop and tablet to it. One thing I did have trouble with was to scan a document to my laptop, that was probably a user error. I am overall very happy with this printer and would suggest it to anyone else looking for a new printer.

The TS 8820 I purchased has been great! Set up using the instructions for wireless printing was straightforward and smooth. So far, I’ve printed documents and some photos. I love the rear tray for photo paper and card stock. Very happy with my purchase.

I needed to replace my Epson printer which continually gave me issues with the quality of prints it produced so I decided to try Canon. I did not have the space for one of Canon's larger photo printers and saw the TS8820. This was the perfect sized photo printer and although I would not get the quality of prints that a larger Canon printer would give, I am very please with the way my prints come out. I've even made prints for others that really love them. The printer was easy to set up and I was able to start printing in a short time. This is by far better than my other printer.

This printer was sent to me as a free sample in exchange for an honest review. The only minor issue was in getting it connected. The instructions were not overly clear on how to get the proper software/drivers installed. Once that was resolved, everything else is amazing. The printer prints at speeds comparable to a laser printer--even when printing in color! One of the features I like is that it has separate ink cartridges for text vs image printing (specifically for black). The text cartridge is larger so that you don't have to replace it as often. Would highly recommend this printer!

an excellent printer quite speedy. easy setup, nice screen with useful information. easy to install the ink cartridges. nice scanner function though i mainly use Canon's LIDE 400. the scanning software which guides both the TS8820 & the LIDE 400 is very useful. the only potential drawback is the retractable output bin. it works fine, but because it is mechanical, at some point it may fail.
