The look.

i understand the concern of others about the lack of protection, but i also understand why samsung designed it this way. it provides some level of protection to prevent scratches to the back of the phone when placing it on surfaces without sacrificing the gorgeous look of the phone. owners just have to be very careful.

i wish they would at least added some extra padding to it in order to absorb more shock if it fell on its back. otherwise, looks great and has descent grip. better quality and padding would of made it worth the price in full. but its sacriledge to cover this phone entirely with a full case which would just add more bulk and weight. and at least, it covers the camera bump.

Misleading perhaps

i feel like, especially for the price, you guys should send also a front case/cover, not just the back one, it feels weird when unfolded and it certainly looks weird in any position/angle, i wouldn't have purchased this case if i knew that i would only get half of what i was expecting.
all that said, the case feels extremely premium and looks great, i'm really sad that i had to give samsung a 1 star review, i love the phone but not the case.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

yes its expensive. yes its minimal protection. its very well made and if you hybrid it with a gear 4 front case you have decent protection. the only other option is a folio case and thats a pain. it flattens the back, protects the camera and has a luxury feel for a luxury device. it should have been included with the phone. i have the carbon one as well and i love the kickstand but this one feels and looks great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Rip Off

i felt totally ripped off when i opened the package and found this insufficient piece of formed leather. for the price, i expected higher quality leather, better form factor, and a more durable piece all together.

complete waste of money!! i have never paid this much for a cover. i decided it seemed like a sound investment given the price of the phone. it only covers the back of the phone, when the scree is the most vulnerable part. the screen protector film is starting to bubble as well. i have sinced purchased a better coverage for much less. samsung should issue a blanket refund to everyone who purchased.
