Ok, so most people know that portable ac are not as great as window models. It is was it is. But I run a tower fan beside it osculating. It does wonders for my area of approx 300 sq ft. The remote works great. I clean the filter screen regularly. Also don't forget to run it on fan mode at end of season for several hours. I bought it last year and It's not to loud for me.

Good Little A/C

This unit does the job. It cools our bedroom perfectly even on really hot days. Yes, it’s a little noisy, but we would way rather put up with a little noise than the heat! The compact size is also a plus.

Love my new portable a/c

After 15 years, my old Danby portable a/c unit finally died during the awful ‘heat dome’ we had this summer. I ordered this new one online and did curbside pickup at the Coquitlam store. Couldn’t have been easier, staff that brought it out and put it into my car were super nice and it works so well. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase!

Bought thru Best Buy and arrived within a week . Using in our small 400 sq foot condo at the lake - in heat wave it has worked very well to cool our entire place. Would recommend .

Great little AC!

I have purchased 3 of these units - one for myself, then one for my son, and recently one for a friend. I have nothing but good things to say about it! It works great, doesn't take up much space, and keeps my kitchen cool in the hot afternoon sun.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Water issues

Buy this with a plastic tray to have underneath, I tell you, it is a lot of water this AC leaks… So get yourself a tray like for shoes, and you will be fine.

i have had this unit for 3 summers now and it still works wonderfully. the only problem i have, which is why i give it only 4 stars, is that it blows air only out of the left side. i don't understand why there is a chunk of plastic blocking 3/4 of the vent. it also needs to be elevated or have a fan running to help the cool air rise on the super hot days which is to be expected for a portable a/c and doesn't bother me.

Got this air conditioner to get ready for the summer here in Calgary. This is a great air conditioner that cools my master bedroom and is quiet. At this price point, this is a really good deal!
