Good Value Shed

The instructions weren't very clear or straightforward and the components weren't the sturdiest but given the price point this was a great value for a functional shed. My one complaint is that while it is highly water resistant it isn't waterpoof and during a moderately rainy day I did see a fair amount of water coming in from the joints in the roof. I will remedy this by running a bead of silicone all the way down each joint but it would have been easier to apply a weather proof putty tape during installation since it's not wise to put weight on the roof after it's fully assembled.

Part of the first shipment got lost, they replaced it rapidly, very nice. The directions are all pictures and somewhat difficult to understand, but the unit is nice once assembled.

Love this shed

This shed is exactly what I was looking for. The size is perfect and fits perfectly between my house and fence. Great for storing my shovels and rakes and my kids outdoor toys. It was pretty simple to put together, the instructions were easy to follow. I'm a 28 year old female and put it together by myself over the course of 3 days, in between taking care of two kids. My only tip is wear gloves - the metal is somewhat sharp.

Plenty of storage for the price

Overall quality I expected for the price. Despite other revues, this was not difficult to assemble. The instructions were clear but you have to pay attention to details in the illustrations. There was one piece that was manufactured incorrectly that required 3 holes to be drilled. Some steps will require a helper but most of the assembly can be done by one person.

Good Value, But Takes Work

The package warns that assembly requires 2 people for 3 hours, but I only had myself and it required several days. There are 2 boxes full of parts and a good number of extra screws, nuts, and plastic gaskets beyond the assembly requirements. I recommend constructing a sturdy base and using better screws than supplied to hold down the base frame once it is squared up (level it and measure the diagonals!). The interior floor cross-reinforcement is included (a stamped top-hat shape, not a square tube) and the floor will need to be built up around it to provide a flat interior surface. All the holes did line up (mechanic's tip: use a pick to set the screw path and try not to tighten fasteners until the entire panel has been started), although as a one-man operation it was necessary to tape some screws in place while the nuts were run down with a 7-mm socket. Frankly, the sturdiness of the assembled shed surprised me.If you need something easy to assemble, pay for it. If you need 150-cubic-feet of storage space cheap and can spare the time, this is a a great low-cost option.

Time consuming but worth it.

This is a good little shed. It is time consuming to construct. Most important is to follow the instructions exactly and play close attention to part numbers. All the pilot holes lined up and was actually easy. Just very time consuming. It took me 5 hours to construct by myself. There are a couple of bolts that need two people in order to screw in but other than that not too bad.

Worth the money

Construction was not as bad as I anticipated. I had read several reviews about the badly written instructions and the amount of time constructing the shed. First of all I am not by any means a handyman. I found the instructions were detailed enough where i or my son could figure out the layout of each piece. My son and I were able to follow the instructions and complete 95% of the shed in about 4.5 hours. That included luch break too.. The only part left is to build the doors.The majority of the holes lines up nicely while some were slightly off but not enough to affect anything. I had to drill about 10 holes at different locations because there were no holes on the base where the sides are fastened.The shed seems sturdy once everything is secured and so far I am liking the product.
