Amazing audio quality. I love the warmth of the sound and I am hearing new sounds in my favourite tunes. I am using them as studio monitors but the versatility of output connections is a real bonus if I want to use them for a different set up.
I had mixed feelings about `The Fives'. While the sound was good, the controls were somewhat awkward and difficult to use. The remote did not consistently connect with the controls, so I had to go to the speaker itself to control it. It was easy to assemble and attach to my television. That was a real plus. However, the controls being awkward turned out to be a deal breaker for me.
They sound great when they work. Mine are not turning on with the TV or any input. I have to unplug them to reset and get them to turn on. The remote does not turn them on. They go off randomly while in use. I would like someone to contact me.

Has a factory reset of the speakers been attempted/accomplished? Please make sure your speakers are up to date with the USB update. Download the Klipsch Connect app and connect The Fives. The app will inform you if your speakers need to be updated. Please give us a call at 1-800-KLIPSCH (1-800-554-7724) or reach out to us by chat (click on the "Help" icon at the bottom right of The Fives product page).
They're very nice speakers. Sound great. I was able to download the apps for updating the fives, and managed to locate a USB to update the speakers. Not sure why a speaker needs updates, and maybe that's on me for buying speakers that require it. I can't tell a difference in sound with the dynamic base. The speakers do get a little fizzy at really high volumes. I like that they have multiple options for connecting and playing audio from. I had them hooked up to the TV and the record player, and the speakers do not switch audio automatically when one device is turned on. They would sometimes immediately turn on with the TV but not consistently. If we had been using the record player and turned on the tv, it would connect to the TV sometimes, but not others, and I cannot figure out why. We've decided to use them exclusively for the record player, but if I had known they wouldn't be functional for both devices we probably would have gone with a less expensive option. Very nice if you're using them for a single dedicated item, but less nice if you want a seamless transition between multiple audio players.
Everything will have to be rewatched within minutes of hooking my new speakers up! Highs are sweeter, lows are subtle but strong, midrange just twinkles through both ranges. This is for music and movies, both are totally different listening experiences!
These sound so good and the retro look on the speaker grills is fantastic!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love these little speakers so much, I've purchased 2 pairs!! I consider myself an audiophile enthusiast and am a long time musician and studio operator. I have ATC studio monitors in my studio, which are 15x the cost of The Fives, and provide the precision I need in the studio. However, THE FIVES are so FUN to listen to on a variety of sources. I have them full time on my entertainment system (TV, streaming, etc). I also stream via my phone. I also have them connected to my vintage Carver Pre-Amp for LP's, CD's, etc. I just LOVE THE FIVES. The are really fun and exciting to listen to. Maybe not the accuracy or precision I'm used to on my ATC monitors, but for the money..... they are fantastic. You do need to do a USB update when you first install for firmware, which is sort of a hassle. But then you have an APP on your phone for EQ control (and you may want it, as these can be BASS HEAVY..........yes, that mini speaker PUSHES MASSIVE AIR..... insane). I highly recommend these little modeling speakers, they are just too good to be true for the cost and experience. Get a couple pairs, I did :)
