Spend thousands or you can just buy these!

Wow these speakers are amazing. I was in the home audio and car audio business for 16 years in the past. I have had systems I have spent thousands on, and they didn't even sound as good as these simple bookshelf size speakers. I would never call these a bookshelf speaker, these should be front and center. The sound stage is amazing from just two speakers when positioned correctly. After unboxing them I listen to them first just by themselves and then added my sub. I'm speechless over the sound quality. I will say this, you have to be a fan of the way a horn sounds, it's in your face and if that's not for you, then this speaker is probably not for you, but I love that about them. I could stop right there and that would be enough, but all the different ways you can connect to these. Bluetooth, HDMI, and even a record player. The Klipsch app even gives you a simple three band equalizer, but I think the flat setting sounds perfect. I opted for the black mat ones, and I absolutely love the way the grills look.

Worst purchase in a long time

Firmware has bricked the speakers. You have to use the app to set the speakers up but the app prevents the speakers from playing any audio.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The speakers look and sound beautiful. No need for a subwoofer unless you prefer that your whole house shake. The first tune I played was an arrangement of Armando’s Rhumba, the hand percussion sounded so crisp and clear. I was always a Klipsch fan but these speakers brought my love for the brand to a whole new level.

Good, if you can ever get them to connect and play

I loved the way these sound, but my 1 star is due to all the issues. I still have connection issues that Klipsch can’t resolve. What’s the point in having powered speakers if you can’t get any devices to play on them? I dealt with a lot since I’ve owned them, but at some point I have to be honest and say these won’t ever be better than a Bluetooth setup unfortunately. I won’t be buying any more Klipsch powered speakers after my issues and seeing the same issue happening all over.

I wish I had gotten these a long time ago! All the songs I love sound incredibly amazing. They sound brand new and fresh almost like hearing them for the first time. Truly hearing them the first time. The speakers go so loud so clear without hurting your ears. The fives are more than just sound they are feeling blasting your favorite sounds through your body. You don't have to have an overpriced music player to have true overwhelming sound. These powered speakers are powerful and can handle any form of music you want to push through them. I have high-end passive speakers my dad brought home from Vietnam. And now I have the fives which I will pass on to my children like my father passed on to me. But these are actually amazing speakers. I can't imagine any improvement that could surpass the way they sound now. Music is a wonderful thing and the fives make music spiritual and awe inspiring. Thank you!

Outstanding sound quality

I use these as desk speakers. The unit is coupled via Toslink to a Brennan B2. I can only say that this system provides a live sound stage I never imagined. The B2 has an EQ so I can reduce the base that a lot of people seem to complain about. The issue some people describe about the speakers going to sleep occurs when you connect with 3.5 mm connection and run the volume of the transmitting device too low. After connecting to the Toslink, I have not had any issues and the clarity of the music is outstanding.
