It was pretty easy to put together. We can¡¯t wait to put it on our balcony after the rainy season ends. Plus I think I want to weather proof the wood/stain it so it¡¯s a little darker.

Extremely well made. Light oil coating on product, probably retreat later for durability. Comfortable.

I have mine inside so I cannot report if it is weatherproof. I will say that the bag is the only part that appears to be weatherproof and has a zipper, so that usually only lasts so long. The bottom of it is mostly open, which it does not explain in the description. I was planning to store winter clothing in it. When it came to our house it was freshly stained. I thought it was lighter in the picture, but it still looks great. The problem is that it smells up our downstairs with the smell currently. It is sturdy and easy to put together.

Top lid instructions were vague as everyone else previously confirmed. Other than that this is an excellent item and I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Nice Deck Storage Bench

This deck storage bench looks great! It did take a while to put together (for one person) but it wasn¡¯t too bad¡ªthere were only 7 main pieces. They weren¡¯t labeled so that took a while to figure out but then it went quite fast. The springs also took me a while to figure out, but they work well. The only problem is that the bench lid doesn¡¯t open all the way (you can see in photo how far it opens). I love the waterproof interior bag. And the color and quality is quite good. I¡¯m very happy with it!

They weren't labeled so that took a while to figure out but then it went quite fast. The springs also took me a while to figure out, but they work well. Very nice. Secure the hinges first!

Another reviewer saved me agony by advising to screw the hinges to the back first, and then assemble the rest. Do this! You won't be able to tighten those screws after the seatback is in place.The bench itself is lovely and went together pretty easily. It looks great on my deck and it looks like it will wear well.

Works great. Instructions really suck, but the bench is great! even bought 1 for mom. Told dad I would put it together because of instructions. Was not so bad putting hers together when I had an idea of what I was doing. She loves hers too
