Just installed, so I can't yet offer a long-term review. But so far, this unit is a vast improvement compared to the out-of-date hood vent it replaced. Looks to be well made, it's quiet, has more than adequate exhaust power, and offers good lighting. I found the price point attractive, too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It works well since i bought it. Fan might be louder if we run fan at top speed. Otherwise it is good fan.

Great hood with a minor annoyance.

Just got this installed last weekend and overall really love it, super powerful, really moves a lot of air and looks great! Quieter than the hood it replaced and that one hardly moved any air at all. My only minor complaint with the hood are the controls - there's an On/Off button that you have to press to enable all the other buttons, then you can select your fan speed and lighting. You can turn the light on and off by pressing the light button. You can change the fan speeds with no issue, however to turn the fan off you have to press the power button - which also turns off the light. It's a minor annoyance - it would be nice to be able to turn the fan off without having to turn the light off as well. I'm not sure why they chose to setup the controls this way.
Either way, I still love the hood, just as I said a minor annoyance with the controls.

could be better

remodeling the Kitchen and needed a new vent. the advertising got me.
Good- looks great, great venting , powerful,
Not so good - too loud, just come out with it and list the db's
light color too harsh, it possible to make those selectable now in 2025, just do it
when i turn it on to turn the fan on and am using the light , great, if I want to shut off the fan i have to hit the power button and the light goes off but I am still cooking so I have to hit the power and light again. can the light be powered separately?

UC-PS60

Still in the process of renovating our kitchen to include removing a downdraft stove, replacing it with a regular slide-in and added a UC-PS60 Hauslane vent hood. From the moment the vent was installed I was in love. It's beautiful against the newly stained cabinets and backsplash. The light is BRIGHT, love the 3 speed fan options and it cleans with ease. The higher the fan speed the louder it gets. I find that if I'm using the highest fan speed, it's temporary and not bothered by the noise at all. Did I mention the light? Yes, it's bright and exactly what I need. Our stove rests against an outside wall so we chose to vent through the back of the wall to the outside. Our contractor is the one who installed the vent hood so I can't speak to the ease of installation. I look forward to many years of cooking with this hood!
