My wife is Chinese and cooks in high heat with some oil. After 3 years,I had to have our A/C unit disassembled and cleaned of a lot of cooking oil! The microwave fan and filter system was ineffective. The Hauslane fan is wonderful! absolutely not escapes this fan. I strongly recommend this product. I don't like the razor sharp edges on the stainless steel panel and the connection to the vent kit could be better.

Unit is very well made, materials are of a high quality. Although the weight of the unit made fitting a 3 person job (without the use of jacks), it was easily acheived. In operarion the unit is much quieter than our old one and removes far more cooking odours. We are extremely pleases with the purchase of the PS38 and would recommend it to anyone looking for a high performance range hood.

So Far, So Good

We did a lot of research and chose the PS38. We've only had it installed for a few days but we are so happy with it so far. It was straight forward to install and has been so much more effective than the under cabinet microwave vent fan we replaced.

Love my new UC-PS38

I love my UC-PS38. It replaced an old fan that smoked up the house when cooking. It vents outside, and I love the design. The clean function is excellent because I hate cleaning fan blades after cooking.

Great style but do not work well

I purchased it 14 months ago. Loved it until something went wrong: on the lowest setting, it works like on level 4 or so. It is powerful alright, but stopped working on the lower setting.
