This hood will levitate a 12 pound turkey off your cook top and deposit in your back yard. Well nearly. I have used it for cooking with a wok , griddle top burgers and steaks and this hood removes all smoke and cooking odors. I have not yet had to use it on its highest setting as I imagine I would have to do some stove top wood smoked ribs or brisket. Super power and relatively quiet. Foods that will normally smoke out the entire house are no sweat even on the three lower settings. There are absolutely no cooking odors escaping into the home. Usually the smell of frying bacon will get the kids moving on weekends but they have no clue it's on the stove.I did replace the led bulbs with higher power units from SORA 95+ CRI But I am very picky about lighting.The supplied bulbs would be fine for most folks. I ran new 8" ducting (using an adapter at the hood) and the noise level is nowhere near annoying when on the higher settings. I have yet to see any smoke or vapor this hood cannot remove . If you are looking for a under cabinet range hood this is a super value .

How the unit is vented, either top or rear.

This unit was to replace an existing range hood. Needed rear vented hood, but the one I received was top vented and thus could not install.

My husband bought this as a surprise gift for my birthday and I love it. It takes out all the smell so my hairs don't smell like food every time after cooking. I notice some customers had issue with the clock but mine is completely fine. Anyway just taking out the smell from my hair and cloth worth every single penny!

Highly recommended kitchen hood

This kitchen hood is awesome! As someone who cooks southeast asian food, which could sometimes really leave the whole house smelling, this hood prevents any of the smell from leaving the kitchen. Would absolutely recommend this if you are looking for a kitchen hood!

Product look great and word as advertised. The self clean is very useful. However, just a bit on the heavy size. It took longer than expected fir the installation. Other than the weight it is a great product. Have it for about 2 month now
