The product works great. Not easy to install by yourself however a car jack can really come handy.

There are no brackets. I appreciate the multiple venting options, but the actual installation seemed silly. You have to remove the screens, then unscrew the fan cover, then attach with 4-6 screws from underneath in a very difficult to reach area. I needed a screw extension and flash light along with a very awkward position to get it into place. It wasn't a deal breaker but seems silly. I had to add pieces of wood under the cupboard to get the installation correct. A bracket would have allowed a much simpler installation.Quality of the hood once installed it actually pretty solid. Installation didn't take a huge amount of time, but it was twice the work it should have been. The instructions included using a lift. As you can imagine I didn't have one of those lying around.

So far the vent has been great. Make sure to check for the screws. I had to call the company for screws that did not come with the product

Great product......BUT

Just a couple quibbles with an otherwise great product. First; install is not easy. The unit is heavy and getting to the anchoring screws is difficult. A mounting bracket would seem to be a great help. Once installed it looks great and I particularly like the dual lights which really illuminates the stove top. The fans, however, are very noisy even at the lowest setting so that I only use them for excessive smoke or grease. Lastly, a suggestion to the manufacturer. Instead of including all that conversion material, why not sell them for specific horizontal or vertical venting? I was shocked at how much excess stuff I had to throw away and of course there is the convenience factor of not having to do the conversion myself. But, all in all, I'm very happy with the product.

I like the look the light the best and the suction is sufficient. I do not like the buttons to raise or lower fan speed because it is annoying.
