I liked its suction power at the highest setting. Frying fish was the ultimate test of the unit for me. It passed. Also, I liked the auto shutoff timer. I didn't like the difficulty of installation. But my kitchen ceiling is 9.5 feet high and sloped at an angle. I suggest keeping the protective covering on the unit until completely installed. The metal scratches easily.
