Sleek and functional

We have owned the built-in vent now for around 2 years. It was exactly what I was looking for in terms of sleekness but also functionality. I rarely have the accidentally smoke detector going off now! It is loud, that would be the only downside, but since it actually works I don't mind the noise. We like it so much my parents also bought a Hauslane vent for their new home!

Best Range Hood!

We've had this installed in our kitchen going on three years now and couldn't be happier! The slim fit and modern design looks great with the stainless steel appliances. The fan is super powerful for heavy cooking and this works best if exhausted outside. The lights are perfect and not too bright.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Well built product. I needed a new flush mount for our kitchen face-lift. This was the largest unit I could find that fit our limited space. In addition to length x width restrictions, we also had a height limit. I had to lower the shelf to create clearance for the exhaust. A lower profile or optional built-in 90 deg elbow would have been very helpful
The Hauslane R100 has great suction and good lighting. But it is LOUD. Even on the lowest of the 3 speed settings, you can hear it everywhere in the house. The halogen lights also emit a detectable buzzing noise when the fan is off. I am considering sound insulation in the cabinet, since we'd like to run the exhaust more often with the bigger range.
I'd buy Hauslane again, especially if my sizing criteria were the same.
