This one is a keeper.

Glad I found this UC-B018. I bought it over the other makers/name brands for my little studio because it was sturdy, came with both a top and rear venting option, and had a plug so the unit was ready to plug in w/o hiring an electrician. The light is amazing, as you can see in my brief video. Design of the whole unit is sleek. Given how great the first one was, I just ordered a second one for my larger home.

Great Product, Filters Not Included

We purchased this hood because we needed a ductless unit, as our house was built without the provision for a vented ducted exhaust system. Luckily we discovered this product! Our electrician installed it without any problem. It is a little heavy, so I helped him holding it up while he screwed it in place. My only criticism is that it does not come with the needed filter, so we had to purchase that separate and it took almost two months on back order to get it, so all that time we could not use the product. My son who has asthma was getting adversely affected each time he cooked. It has good suction and looks sleek and modern. I do love it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

If I had to buy another one it would be this! The fan isn't crazy loud that it feels like your on an airport tarmack like others I've used. The grill plates over top are gorgeous and easy to clean. I love that the buttons are more sensor light buttons than pressing ones. So if my hands are full it will also turn off with my elbow or the back of my hand. Very bright light, but not overly harsh at night. Completely changed my kitchen for the better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am happy with the Hauslane UC-B018 range hood. It has a clean, modern look that instantly upgraded my kitchen, and the installation was straightforward thanks to the multiple venting options. Removing odors from my kitchen.

Purchased a UC-B018 for it's modern style, low profile and its powerful 400 CFM. Once it was installed it looked great in my kitchen. Works great, it's not noisy and the light illuminates well. So happy with my purchase which was done online.
