This machine is much quieter than the one I bought 5 years ago. The only thing I miss is setting shut off time but I will get over it!

Sadly, my old brewer broke. So, I replaced it with the latest Keurig. The display is not quite as friendly, and is taking me a while to adjust, but it brews the same old coffee in the same old way. No complaints. Just beware...I loved my old Keurig and my K-carafe pods and K-carafe. I assumed the latest brewers would be K-carafe compatible, but alas, they are not. So my K-carafe sits idly by.

After only 40 hours in my house, the K elite needed to be replaced. When turning on the machine, it would dispense anywhere from 1/2 to 2 ounces of water. I was informed it was defective. I received a replacement machine, it too dispenses a small amount of water upon start up, this will most likely be my last Keurig machine. It’s my fourth machine in six years. I’m done
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My Father taught me my coffee should be strong enough to hold a spoon up - this has a 'strong' button which does that. Don't use it every time but enough to take me back. It does have other good features also.
