Works great and the coffee is awesome. If I only could get my reusable k-cup to work in it.

Very glad that this brewer went back to the basics. I know how I want to brew my coffee and at what size. Last brewer thought it knew best and wouldn't let you override it's choices. My only complaint is the water tank. There isn't really a hand hold to pull it out for refilling and getting it back in without spilling water can be a challenge. Which means it doesn't get filled as full as allowed that is why it only gets 4 stars. Other than the water tank I love my Keurig.

My Girlfriend loves her new Elite. They description is a little misleading when talking about the reusable filter... thought it came with the unit... come to find out it’s an extra cost... just another way to get into consumers wallets... other than that good product

A few disappointments with this brewer

I purchased this coffee maker since the Keurig Vue was being discontinued. I purchased this coffee maker based on recommendation and customer reviews. I have been using the coffee maker for a few weeks now and am disappointed for several reasons. 1.) The k cups are not recyclable like the Vue cups were. That was one of the main reasons I bought the Vue as I try to be as eco conscious as possible. 2.) The "strong" setting on the coffee maker doesn't make much difference in the taste and boldness of the coffee. In fact, I think the coffee tastes like it has been watered down. 3.) The brew options for the coffee size isn't as diverse as the Vue.
Overall it is a nice coffee maker, but the some of the features are less than desirable.

Hi Kevin, thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback. Vue pods were larger and held more coffee which provided more options when it came to cup sizes. 12 ounces is the largest size recommended to brew with a K-Cup pod. Also please note that all new K-Cup pods will be recyclable by the end of 2020, joining our already recyclable Laughing Man Blends and Green Mountain Breakfast Blend.

I bought this in May 2018, 8 months ago. Started having a problem after about 4 months. When it comes on sometimes about 2-3 Tbls of water will brew through so I have to keep a cup under it at all times. It doesn’t do it every time. Sometimes it won’t do it for a week and then it will do it everyday for a week. I only brew 2-3 k cups a day. Now when I need to do hot water I always run one cup first to get any leftover coffee residue out and the water is a little brown so I know that works. But then it will not let me run a second cup of hot water no matter what I do. I’ve tried everything. The only way to do it is to turn off the coffee maker and let it cool down for at least 15 minutes. Not convenient at all. I was considering buying a different Keurig model but I really love the iced coffee setting and the strong brew strength of this machine. I miss my Keurig Vue. It was nice to be able to set the temperature on that model but my Elite is plenty hot enough. My Vue lasted a few years then started leaking out the bottom. I liked my 2.0 that I replaced it with but having to hack it to use different brand k cups was a pain. Then it started growing mold inside and wouldn’t clean out of it and was making my husband and I sick. i don’t want to go with a different brand as all of the ones I’ve tried the coffee isn’t strong or hot enough. I do not want to go back to a regular drip coffee maker because it is not convenient at all.m
