I’ve had the Keurig K-Elite single serve for ten year plus and I was very satisfied with the coffee maker. So, when it no longer worked I ordered the same coffee maker and was very disappointed to find out that the new model does not have the light on the side of the water holder. This light enabled me to see how much water was used so that I could refill the holder. I’m thinking of returning the coffee maker.

I had to replace my 2.0 and wanted something similar but with the iced coffee option added. Pros, sleeker design, more sturdy closing latch, and drip tray is much better than previous models. The iced coffee option is also a pro. Cons would be it is not a Digital Touch screen. It’s a pain to change the time or to set on auto on and off. The previous 2.0 touch screen was so much more up with the times. Easier to program in a pinch. This one you have to keep hitting buttons to get to where you want and to end when you’ve made a selection. You can’t just easily go to what you need to do. The holder is different so you will need to buy a new pod if you grind your own. I also don’t like the water reservoir lid. Previous models had a lid that was easier to stay on when placing it back on the machine. The 2.0 had a section that lifted partially so you didn’t always have to remove the whole canister. And the lid stayed on better when trying to place it on. All in all. It feels like a sturdier machine in general. But the rest of the features make it seem like they went backwards with technology. If they could incorporate this machine with a digital. That would be amazing.

Love our new kuerig. The best feature is the strong brew button. Like a larger water reservoir and more cup size options. Plus it looks good sitting on the counter.
