I'm loving that the elite has a much more pronounced flavor than my last Keurig. I'm elated with the higher temperatures and more choices of cup sizes. The brushed gold looks great with my splash of gold backsplash!

The K-Supreme is a more convenient machine.

I think the K-Supreme is a better machine for anyone who likes to brew a cup of coffee whenever they want without wait time. I bought this machine during a sale and thought it would be an upgrade. Both machine's have water reservoirs large enough for multiple brews. Both machines have the STRONG brew and ICED brew option with similar size brew options. This machine has 2 additional brew size options, but who really cares about that when the K-Supreme already has 4 sufficient brew size options.
With this machine, you are limited to an automatic shutoff time of a maximum 2 hours. Why you can't program whatever timing you would like, I don't know. It's VERY annoying and my biggest issue with this machine.
With the K-Supreme, it turns on when you open to put in a K-Cup and shuts off automatically each time which isn't an issue because the K-Supreme heats up water and brews very fast. Almost no wait time! This machine needs to heat the water each time if the machine is off and takes some time to do so. This leads to having to leave the machine on all of the time unless you want to wait a few minutes every time you want to brew a new cup or you beat the two hour shutoff time, which is ridiculous and shouldn't be a thing you have to think about when these machines are meant to be convenient. This machine is frustrating when it should be more convenient and easier to use than the K-Supreme when it costs much more. This machine is also much bulker and takes up more counter space than the K-Supreme. Overall, it brews a good cup of coffee, but I think the engineering behind it has missed some very simple features as if built by an engineer who has never used another Keurig.
