This is the second Keurig K-Elite that I have purchased. My first one lasted almost 4 years.
The only complaint I have is that the water reservoir fill gauge is set to high, so that you need to fill it even though over 16 ounces of water remaining in the reservoir.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our original Keurig was due for an upgrade, we looked at and purchased 3 other Keurig style coffee makers including Cousinart, Famiwirth, Black n Decker and returned them all. This Keurig fits my travel mug, has necessary features we thought were important to us. Good quality and appearance in the kitchen.
