Small cups of coffee

Am disappointed that it only makes about 1/2 mug of full-flavored coffee at a time (8 oz). A 12-oz cup becomes very watered down and tasteless and still doesn't fill my mug. I ordered a My K-Cup coffee reusable filter to avoid the waste of plastic K-cups but it seems unreasonably complicated with 5 pieces. I've only had this coffee maker for a week and have been frustrated with each use. Still working at it but not sure if I'll keep it or return it.

Wobbly water reservoir

Don’t get me wrong, I still love Kuerig. It’s just shocking how much the quality of these makers has diminished. My first Kuerig was a solid machine that lasted nearly 10 years. It was one of the greatest innovations I ever purchased. Had I the foresight to know the product would become an incredibly lightweight piece of plastic that wouldn’t last one year, I would have purchased 10, 20 years ago.
I’m on my third machine now and my expectations are pretty low. This one feels more flimsy than the last one. I will see how this one works to determine if I’ll stick with this brand when this one breaks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A little old and a lot of new

I've owned Keurig coffee makers since they first came out. My K-Elite is almost the best one I've had so far. It makes a perfect cup of coffee depending on which "K-cup" brand you use. The "iced coffee/tea" is nothing new, since it was always brewed in a non-breakable container filled with ice; cubed or crushed. I bought the K-Elite to replace a smaller robins egg blue Keurig with a smaller reservoir that I felt I was always having to fill. The bluish one was always splashed up, including around the base on the counter. The K-Elite does less splashing all over the place. The filter holder was modified by Keurig at some point to exclude the disk at the top that kept track of when the filter needs changing. I kept my old filter holder with the dial since I love this feature. Three improvements: 1.Put the model name of the brewer on the S/N sticker, and literature included in the box. 2.Put the filter change reminder dial back on the filter holder! 3.Take a look at the pamphlet included in the box, and the online information. I know someone could do better. What is the moon icon? Explain those things in the pamphlet and fold it right. Look at the old insert booklets, which were much better written. Programing it is a bit intuitive, but could be explained better for those of us that still read. THANK you for keeping the price down. I will hold on the the other little accessories I've collected over the years in case they ever come back in style, such as Keurig Hot 2.0 My K-cup, and the Brewer Maintenance Accessory that cleared needle plugs. If it plugs, I will use the old paper clip trick.
