This one was bought as a back up to the one we have, which is the exact same one. With the price that was offered we couldn't turn down buying a back up. As we all know, all appliances come to an end sooner or later.
I had to replace my Keurig Elite with the same one, different color. Mine lasted approximately 4 years which I believe is the average lifespan of a coffee maker. I always used filtered water and cleaned the filter in the Keurig. I really like the feature button to make the coffee stronger and the 75 oz water storage container.
I really wanted to rate this 4.5 because of two things that keep it from being perfect. The design of the water tank is flawed when you fill it all the way to the top. (if you are removing it and taking it to the sink like we do) The water sloshes over the front of the tank when trying to put the tank back in its place. I love the choices that you offer for strong and Iced, but it would be great to have strong AND iced. Because of this, I do not use the iced button as I get more flavor out of a dark blend hot brewed and then poured over. Everything else is super. Thank you!!
Been running this everyday for about two weeks now. As compared to the old keurig I had to replace with this, I like the improved water tank design and overall user interface. Seems like it's quieter and quicker to warm up from a dead start. The only thing that it doesn't have that my old one did is the ability to program a time for auto shutoff. This new one can only program a max of 2 hours from first start. Maybe that's a new feature to make it last longer, but we shall see. Overall, so far so good.
Approximately one month of use, so far performing well, a bit more noise than expected, hotter brew than previous iCoffee machine we had for quite a few years - Fairly cheap feeling materials - Not too sure on future reliability - Would recommend for the average coffee drinker...
We have had this model for years and have enjoed it. We just decied we wanted to buy a new one

I have had this coffee maker for a couple years now and for the most part, I love it, however, there is a design flaw in it. When you are filling it with water, you have to be very careful because the front of the water chamber is lower than the back, which has caused me several times to overflow the water out of the coffee maker all over the countertop. This is a definite design flaw which needs to be addressed and not repeated in future models. Otherwise, it is an awesome coffee maker.
I've had a brewer just like this for a number of years. I liked it so well, I bought another just like it. Keurig was great to work with on the replacement. Keurig in number 1!!!!!!
