I bought this to replace a different brand. I really liked the other one but it wasn't hot enough or strong enough. Bought this as it has the Strong option. Seems to work very well. My coffee tastes better.

We finally had to replace our many-year-old Keurig (it started to leak), and we're glad we could find one with a built-in clock and auto-on. It works fine and has a large water tank, but it seems to take longer than Old Faithful to brew a cup, and the buttons are fussier than on the old model. Our old model had three sizes (6, 8, 10oz), which frankly seems like plenty to me. This model includes 4 and 12 oz, a hot water button (possibly useful), and a "strong" button that doesn't obviously do anything. The literature certainly doesn't provide any insight into what would make the brew stronger, and I can't taste any difference. Bottom line, we're happy enough with this new brewer, but we wish we could have gotten a new and shiny replacement of exactly what we used to have (and which cost half as much, back then).
