We're avid Keurig users and have been for years. Decided to upgrade this time. We love almost everything about this brewer. I especially love the "iced" brew button and all the different cup sizes that it offers. The only thing we aren't crazy about it that a fine must of coffee splashes out when it's nearing a full cup so don't try to put your hand on the cup before it's 100% done brewing. It's not a deal breaker by any means, we still love this one.
I had the original black Keurig which was still working but was getting louder so I decided to upgrade to the elite model. I was a bit disappointed with the new machine as it is very loud when warming up. It sounds like a rocket taking off. I set the auto start so when I get up it is ready to go and I can hear it warming up from the bedroom (door open of course). Other than that it is a little faster than my old one but again I really wish it was more quiet. It is a very good machine as far as the different cup sizes, you can make the coffee stronger, and it even makes iced coffee which is a plus with the hot summer days.
I had a previous Elite model that I replaced by this newer model. My only complaint is that I wish it had a metal lever like the old one instead of the plastic one on this model. Saving costs I suppose!
Very happy with this coffee maker. Many sizes of brew to choose, also strong, hot water and iced choices are convenient. I was replacing an older Keurig coffee maker (probably 10 years old), hope this one performs as well. Quieter than the old one.
I bought this to replace my old B40 Elite. I need to say, I had my last one for about 15 years which is why I purchased another one. I can say, the coffee makers have not changed much and the product still strongly push you to having the K-Cups. I gave it 4 star because I would like to de-cluttered my coffee area, stop spending extra $'s for K-Cups and storing them. I would like to see an easy way to just scoop your own coffee ground and place the scoop in the brew system as an option.
