This replaced the Keurig coffee maker that I had for 6 or 7 years and which was still working but becoming a little troublesome. The new K-Elite is clean looking and has a large water reservoir, more convenient. It is set to turn on each morning about the time I wake up, another convenience. I like a hot cup of coffee and it delivers that but don't they all at first? It cannot be programmed to stay on all day and automatically go off at bedtime like the predecessor machine, it will stay on indefinitely or for two hours at a time. Less convenient for me, maybe not a big deal for others. The K-Elite is not a quiet Keurig model if that is important to you. The heating up noise is loud and the hissing and spraying sounds at the end of the brew cycle very adequately signal your coffee is ready. It is noisier than the normal range of kitchen hubbub and sounds, it gets your attention.
I've had this "Elite" brewer for about 10 days, and I am so happy with the upgrade. I get several more cup size options and a "strong" option. I was disappointed that it was less expensive just days after purchase, but after contacting customer service, they sent me a coupon that more than made up the difference. I am now happily caffeinated.
I was looking to upgrade our model (which still works perfectly after 4 years and will be donated) and convinced my husband to upgrade after he saw the iced coffee feature. No issues so far! Works great!
My husband & I had the other model that it seem you no longer are making. The only difference with this one is it can make cold items. We really liked the other pot better. It was easy to set time & you controlled the shut off time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just received this new coffee maker this week after my previous Keurig coffee maker K-cup loading mechanism stopped working. We had had the older one for several years and were very happy with it. This new one doesn’t have the larger carafe ability which used a larger pod. I think we will be happy with this new Keurig coffee maker as we have we all the previous ones. Only things I really miss on the new one are: 1. The water reservoir cover having to be completely removed to refill the water, the old one you just lifted the front pat of the cover not having to completely remove it. 2. The loss of the ounce markings for the cup icons. And 3. Fact that the reservoir now has a silver plastic plate on the front that doesn’t allow you to see the volume of water in it like the old one did. Since the location of the coffee maker is in a position that makes it hard to see the side to determine water remaining. I do think, and hopefully so, that the loading mechanism on the new coffee maker seems better built than the one that broke on the old one. Other than that, I am quite pleased with the new K-Elite Coffee Maker.
