We purchased this Keurig about 3 weeks ago and it is amazing. Glad we updated our 2.0!

Great Product / Short Life

The first Keurig K-Elite I purchased lasted for a little over a year. I thought it was just a dud so I purchased a second. The second one lasted almost 2 years. For the price I paid for this product, I am disappointed that it has such a short life.

After our current K70 Platinum finally gave out, we requested the K Elite through Keurig as a replacement. From the very first brew, we knew something wasn't right. When brewing coffee, the pump was very loud. The pump struggled even more as it came to the end of the brew cycle - revving faster and slower as the coffee sputtered out. Since other friends and family own the K Elite, we knew that this was unusual. This is not the first time that we have had an issue with a Keurig brewer, but customer service has always been great in helping us resolve the issue or arrange for a replacement. Fortunately, we are still able to use this K Elite machine to brew coffee while we await the replacement through the warranty. Hopefully, we will have better luck this time.

It’s a very nice coffee maker. I will say I miss my old Keurig because I liked the style and the little light at the bottom of the water well was an especially nice feature. Since it is no longer in production I chose the new model. It has features my old Keurig did not have so it is an improvement.
This is our second K-Elite coffee maker. The first one didn’t work with the cappuccino k-cups so Keurig replaced it without a problem. I like cappuccino and my husband likes regular coffee k-cups. Although it works fine with regular coffee k-cups unfortunately this is not the case with the cappuccino k-cups. We have tried all brands of k-cups with no luck. Hopefully the new Keurig with more holes in the k-cup works better. By the way it claims this will work with any k-cups.
