This is a replacement for the same model which quit working after less than two years. This coffee maker, like previous one, will not accept a temperature change but defaults to the preset temperature. It’s noisy but at least the splashing isn’t as bad.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Like this machine- however it leaks terribly after a cup is brewed. About a half cup leaks out in to the tray.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Makes great coffee. Don’t like that you have to take the whole top lid off to fill reservoir. And the silver panel in front makes it hard to see your water level. It’s stylish and looks good on the counter.

Unit works well but needs design improvements

Nicely updated model, overall works well and has much simplified mechanical movement parts. However, several design improvements could be made on future designs. The lid on the water reservoir is no longer on a movable axle. It must be removed manually to add water. Annoying. Also, noticing that when I use each morning, there is water dripping from from discharge part of the unit prior to putting in a pod. After making the first cup, this dripping stops. Another annoying problem.

This brewer is a little bit more quiet than our original. The water reservoir is clumsier and has a flimsy cover. We appreciate the heating temp. control. The option to have stronger coffee is the reason this model was chosen.
