Great brewer

This is my fourth Keurig. My older models have let me use pods twice for iced tea. This one does not allow a second brew. When I attempt this, the whole unit shuts down. Does anyone have experience with this?

New Features and Great Results

This was a replacement to my B60, which served us well for many years. One immediate thing I noticed was the inability to determine the water level from the front of the machine, although there is a light that does indicate when the reservoir needs to be refilled. It heats up and brews quickly, getting you out the door in a hurry. The programmable auto on/off feature is nice if you have a regular schedule, but lacks the ability to program by the day, thus wasting energy on a weekend when you may not be looking for a cup of coffee at the crack of dawn. Another feature is the 'Strong' button, which slows down the brew process, and actually seems to produce a richer brew. Overall, I am pleased with this unit and hope to enjoy good coffee for years to come.

Nice Sleek design - 2 design flaws

I had to replace our Keurig. I ordered this one and just received it today. It looks nice and sleek. Wish the water reservoir cover had the hinged opening like my previous one had. Also the cord is very short - much shorter than my previous Keurig had - What the heck - with the amount of money I spent on it I would expect a little longer cord.

I liked my old brewer a little more.

My previous brewer that I still have is the K575 2.0 and love it. I purchased the K-Elite hoping to "upgrade" and the slate matches my appliances. I feel like the K-Elite is a downgrade. It signals add more water when there is at least 16 ounces left in the reservoir. The K575 can be ran nearly dry. Because of this I have to fill the reservoir more often. I liked the digital display on the k575 but it is an unnecessary feature. The K-Elite has an odd angle when opened to change cups. This angle causes coffee grounds to spill onto the counter. This is by biggest pet peeve! It is so annoying to have to clean the counter every single time I use the brewer. The K575 was not angled in that way and left no grounds on the counter. The K575 had a lighted reservoir which was nice to have as a nightlight in the kitchen. The K-Elite does not. The filtration unit in the K575 had a dial on the top that you could adjust to let you know when you changed the filter last. A reminder to change the filter also came up on the display. The K-Elite filter holder does not have this dial. I do like that with the K-Elite you can use the hot water without having to hold the button down like you do with the K575. It also puts out more hot water than the K575.

Noisy

I bought this to replace my other Keurig that quit working. Figured it was an upgrade however, it is so noisy when brewing I'm not sure I will get another. With time, things are expected to be improved upon but in this instance, it is not. Really disappinted. No users' guid is provided with the purchase; must get online. I can't print it from Website, so I have to look up every time I want to know something. The setup is not easy when all there is are symbols. This is a step down by far.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a great coffee maker!

Although I love the coffee maker, I was upset because the box it came in said that 15 coffee pods were included. That said, there were no pods in the box. That's the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. In addition to that I had to spend 30 minutes on hold when I called the company about this problem.
