Cheaply Made

I received this coffee maker yesterday and as soon as I took it from the box I could tell. No more light in the water reservoir, no hinge on the lid, and you can’t see the amount of water from the front, the filter unit is also not tight, it moves around when you put water in. These are all due to the engineers designing it more cost effective (cheaper). I don’t know how long this thing will last but I still have my old one with the clock that has a mind of its own. When these break I will look for a different brand and if I have to spend more to get better quality I will. Gets back to that old saying you get what you pay for, and in Keurig’s case they’re getting kind of junkie. This is probably the first review I’ve ever written on anything but hopefully some one reads it, and Keurig pleases don’t ask me to call customer service because it’s working as advertised it’s just cheaply made.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed in product

I bought this coffee maker less than a year ago and it is already not working. I have cleaned it several times and made sure the needle is patent and still having disappointing results. It turns itself on randomly and now is not brewing correctly. We loved it when it worked, the ice coffee feature is especially nice. I’ve had a couple machines prior to this that we were happy with but this one disappoints.

THIS MAKES THE 5 TH COFFEE MAKER AND I ONLY HAVE ONE PROBLEM WITH IT. MY LAST ONE HAD A LIGHT IN THE WATER TANK THIS ONE DOSE NOT AND MAKE IT HARD TO SEE SINCE IT IN A DARK PLACE. ALSO NEVER GOT SAMPLE PAK.

Customer service is fabulous. But when my old Keurig gave up, they suggested this model -- which does not turn off, has confusing ways of setting information, and obscure directions. Still, it makes a great cup of coffee!
