All 3 only lasted 3 months

I’ve had 3 or 4 of the K-Elite machines over the last year and each of them only lasted 3 months. Here’s what happens. For the first 2-3 months the brewer works perfect. You pop a K-Cup in, stick a coffee cup under the spout, you press your desired fill/ strength button and coffee comes out nice and hot. However, after a while the machine will pour a cup of coffee and then immediately after pour an equal amount of hot water. It’s as if the machine thinks Ive pushed the button again. Supper annoying because you have to grab another cup and place it under the spout to grab the extra water/ coffee this thing is pouring. I’ve cleaned the needles and descaled all my machines yet the problem stays or gets worse. Keurig has been great about sending out brand new replacements but I’d have to say I’m kind of at my end with this product. If 3-4 machines have produced the exact same issue, I’d say there is a design/ onboard computer issue going on. Probably cheaper for them to just leave the machine as is and send out replacements than to fix the problem to begin with. I mean, how hard could a software update be? Let’s start there!
Anyways, I would definitely NOT recommend this specific K-Elite at all. Also, there’s no way I’m the only one experiencing these issues. Im sure others get to this point and either throw it out and buy a new one or just go back to the good old “pot of coffee” method. Furthermore we aren’t crazy 10 cups a day type of people. Max is two cups for my wife and I, which is a pretty light task for these machines. So, it’s not like we’re brewing massive amounts of coffee and the machine simply can’t handle it. Just a “pour” design (pun intended). Ha.

Where is the quality control?

We are on our 3rd K Elite since Christmas. I keep thinking we got a lemon only to be replaced by another lemon. Same issue every time. Works great then randomly shuts off during cup fill. Pod overflows with grounds into the cup. So frustrating. I love it when it works but unreliability is a big issue. Fourth try or move on?....

Replaced it once and then gave up

This Keurig leaks water as it turns on and then splatters coffee every where when it’s filling up a cup. Unbelievable. I bought one, returned it, bought another, and just didn’t try again when this one started leaking immediately too. It’s been two years of splatters on my counters and I’ve finally realized I’m a fool for sticking with Keurig. I will no longer be purchasing from this company.

A real nightmare!

I am sure you won't publish this because it is not good. This is about the 5th or 6th Keurig I have had over the years. When they work I love them but the last 4 have all had a problem. The one I just purchased hasn't brewed one cup correctly. The one before it I had to return and then I think I exchanged and it worked if I inserted the Kcup and pushed it down manually before shutting the top. I mainly drink tea and order the Chai tea but for some reason it clogs the output and it goes for about 1/2 inch of tea then stops and shuts off the machine. The last 2 machines have done the same thing. I spent over an hour with a support person and went thru about 6 kcups trying different things (although I had already gone thru the processes before I called because this wasn't the first time I had gone through it). I have to cut open the kcup and transfer the tea to a tea infuser and run hot water through it. This is a real hassle! My husband drinks coffee and he can't get the coffee to brew either because it probably has tea clogged in it. He told me he drove down to the local donut shop to get a cup of coffee recently. I know I can call and go through the whole process of try this and try that with someone who is very difficult to understand but I haven't had time to do that. So I just keep cutting open my tea kcups open until I have time to deal with it. I have never used anything except the kcups I have purchased from Keurig.

Was great until...

We had this brewer for over 2 years, and it worked great. Was a little slower and louder than previous versions, but we didn't mind. However, once we moved to a new house, the brewer became a problem. Newly built homes have been required to have AFCI outlets/breakers for MANY years now, but this brewer trips the breaker every time we use it. I contacted Keurig via email and received zero response. We googled and found this has been an issue for several years, and HAS been brought to Keurig's attention multiple times, but they have made NO effort to correct the issue. We had to retire a perfectly operating machine and buy a Mr. Coffee brewer in order to have our daily intake. FIX THIS ISSUE KEURIG!!!

Best Keurig Yet !!

I have had this for a month and love it. Have owned k-cup machines for 10 years and this is the best. So glad Keurig decided to go back to a fairly basic machine with awesome options. Best thing about this machine is you can turn it on put a k-cup in, select your brew size and walk away. No more having to wait for the water to heat up - this machine automatically brews with no need to go back and reopen the lid after it warms up. I now make my own ice coffee every morning in a 30oz insulated mug.
Great job on this brewer.

I can't make a cup of coffee because when I turn the Keurig on it just pumps water now I see others have the same trouble so they are not fixing it.
