Sub-par... iced coffee feature? joke

I LOVE my keurigs and reward myself with the top of whatever current line up is every two-ish years, even when we have no issues with our current machine. USUALLY I find my choice houses pleasant surprises, but this "Elite" edition is lack-luster at best. We opted to get a fresh k-elite and get rid of our 525 because it seemed like a worthy replacement... Aesthetically it is gorgeously sleek, but really out of character to not be able to see the water level at a front glance. The control panel is so flat that you also can't see it (like the clock feature) without standing directly over it. They have done away with the touch screen and went back to buttons. They have gotten rid of the clever half-lid and went back to having to take the entire thing off to refill and clumsily put the lid back on that almost never goes on right the first time....It functions like a keurig is supposed to though - no major malfunctions, no leaks, no issues with timers, sizes or strength options here, nothing wrong with hot water and pods. There were SO many options with the 525 in terms of size and type of brews, that this is a sad replacement, and truly an unnecessary upgrade from the classic. To be quite honest, I'm offended that Keurig would even use "iced coffee" to market this machine, AS IF WE HAVEN'T ALREADY BEEN BREWING OVER ICE FOR YEARS. This is a real selling point for people and something I had hoped to be surprised with. The novelty iced coffee button spittles out hot water over ice cubes, melting the ice cubes anyway, watering down your iced coffee before you even get to drink it (and let's be honest, allow your ice cubes to melt on your own...) I'll always love my keurigs, But give us a machine with innovation that brews a little cooler for real iced coffee and THEN call it "elite."

Not happy with this one!!

I purchased this one end of March I am now waiting on my 2nd warranty one to arrive tomorrow. I've always loved my Keurig I am so disappointed in this one. I bought it to replace my old one that had finally quit on me that I had forever. The reason I am having to have this one replaced is when I hit the on button water starts to stream out of it and it would totally empty the water reservoir if I let it go and didn't shut it off. If this one does the same thing I am done with Keurig.

Problem with my Keurig K-Elite

I bought my Keurig K-Elite 2 months ago after my old one died, I absolutely loved it but when I turned it on this morning all of the water leaked out all over the counter. It didn't heat up just cold water came out. My old Keurig lasted 7 years I had hoped this one would have also.

Broken needles

The needle that punctures the pod on the bottom has broken off. I’ve only had about 3 months...very disappointed!!!

keurig has gone significantly down hill

I've owned keurigs for the last 15 years. the last 2 being a huge disappointment. although i told myself before I purchased this, it was a mistake, I went ahead and did it anyway. when I received the keurig elite I noted how the quality of the keurig machines continued to decline but decided to keep it and give it a whirl. Now, 2 years later (2 years and 1 day to be precise) the machine has stopped working. No more keurigs for me.... I'm very brand loyal but eventually I learn.

Love it but stops working

I bought my first keurig elite and loved it so much, but after a year it just stopped brewing. When i press the button with the cup on it to start brewing it automatically turns off. i just bought my second one and it did the exact same thing but this time after two weeks. When this coffee machine works, i love it. But it is so disappointing that this keeps happening. I will not be purchasing this machine again.

Delayed coffee

I hate that the water isn’t constantly hot and you have to wait a few minutes for the 1st cup, every 2 hours. I also disagree discount is unavailable to existing reoccurring client.

Improved brewer

Great brewer with a more simple operating design than past models. However, the water container lid needs have a hinge like past models. Makes it easier to fill and keeps lid off an unsanitary surface. Water temperature should be a minimum of 195 degrees for proper coffee extraction flavor. The max temp now is 192 degrees.
I would recommend this to a friend!
