The quality of this machine is poor. Their is a significant difference in this one compared to the Kurig it replaced. We were very happy with the old We used for years. This new one, while it looks the same, is cheaply made.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the Keurig K- elite. This is my second one for myself. The first one I purchased when it first came out back in 2018(?). We use it every day, several times a day. So when my first one started having issues, I didn’t hesitate getting another of the same model. I also bought one for my son in 2020 when he got married, and they use it everyday, no problems. Definitely the best of the Keurig line of coffee machines!
The first Keurig I had was a gift given to me in 2011 and it was similar to the K-Elite. It lasted for years until I decided to buy a K Supreme coffee maker. I've gone through four of the K Supremes, two I purchased, and they each quit working after about one or two years. Two others were replacements Keurig sent to me because the one I had was still in warranty. Long story short, when my last K Supreme died on me, even though I liked its features, I decided to go back to the K Elite in the hope that it will have a longer life span. I also noticed that on the Keurig website, the K Elite has a higher rating than the K Supreme. FYI: My 2011 Keurig is still in use at my daughter in law's home.
