This our 3rd machine in 12 years. It's just what we need. Basic with a few extras for when we have visitors. We live at 6500 feet and we're having trouble with not getting a full cup. We found in the directions that at high altitudes you have to push the pod down and releasenthe air pressure in the pod and wow, what a difference it makes in the brewing process.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Brewers that are equipped with a temperature control, such as the K-Elite, will allow the brewer to function at levels of up to 10,000 ft so we would recommend experimenting with lowering the brew temperature in addition to enabling the high altitude setting. I like my Keurig and the gold color. Being spoiled by my last Keurig maker which I had for a very long time, is that it kept the water hot at all times, where with this one, I have to wait till it heats up the water each time for a cup of coffee. I would have ordered another one like the one I had for that reason of keeping water hot at all times. Otherwise, I like my new Keurig.

I have had a Keurig for several years and loved it. I visited my daughters family in Tennessee and she had the new "Elite" It made such a good cup of coffee I bought a new one for myself. It has a "strong" button on it. That's my kind of coffee!
