lacks reliability

Love the machine but hate that I bought it to replace one that had been used for about 8 months (because we winter in another State). The warranty was for one year and ran out 6 weeks before the first one failed. The fact that it had only been used for 8 months did not impress Keurig at all and they were of little asistance - offering me two boxes of coffee free with my new purchase. This will be the last Keurig I ever buy if it doesn't even make it to the end of the warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Elite Makes Me Happy

I had a K70 for 6 years and when it quit went looking for a replacement had another model that I was spending morning refilling, it was rather noisy then we found this, it's just short of being in Heaven to have one that holds a mornings worth of water plus and its very quiet, and quick. Thank you Keurig for the wonderful machine, Elite it is.

Ordered this Brewer July 8th, because I couldn't get another Platinum brewer. I liked the idea of a Larger water reservoir, and I wanted the cup size selection.
Although the reservoir holds more water, the solid color piece they put in front blocks your view of how much water is in the tank, especially if the left side is toward a wall. VERY Annoying. Secondly, why in the world did you get rid of the cover flap that very conveniently let you add water. I keep dropping the cover into the reservoir; again, VERY Annoying.
Unfortunately this Brewer already died this morning. It suddenly started emptying the water. Even after unplugging and trying again it did the same thing.
However, I am a diehard Keurig user, so I will still get another.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Superb coffee, smart design changes from 2.0

We've been Keurig users for years now. This is an upgrade from the Keurig 2.0. First and most important, it extracts more flavor out of each K-cup - I seldom find the need to use the strong option. Secondly, you no longer have to wait for the water reaching temperature to hit the brew button, it will start brewing as soon as the water is ready rather than having to re-raise/lower the handle. Third, it adds the 12oz option to a regular k-cup, much better for my travel mugs. Fourth, effective, straight forward iced coffee option. Fifth, they kept the price down! I do not miss the touch screen, the buttons are actually simpler and tactile. I also do not miss having a lighted water reservoir, I don't make coffee in the dark. As far as noise? It's a pressurized brewing system, of course it makes some sound, however, it is not particularly noisy. My sole 2 areas where they could still improve? 1. I do wish they had retained the hinged reservoir lid, not a "biggie" but it was more convenient, and 2. It would have been preferable to have a window on the front of the water reservoir to make seeing when to refill easier. However, to me these are small gripes in a solid improvement in coffee flavor, compact design, and useful features.
Note: You can't use the large pods in the Elite, but I think this is why the head design does a better job extracting coffee flavor.

Before I write my review, and after reading some of the 1 star reviews, I don't understand how cock roaches in the house and in the Keurig machine is Keurig's fault as described by Allysa about 20 days ago.
Anyway, we have had the Elite machine since the middle of June 2019 and it worked fine until today. It simply would not stay on much less brew. I called customer service and they told me there were probably coffee grounds in the needles and to clean the needles using a paper clip. Took about 2-3 minutes and the machine works fine. Simple fix that might be helpful to other people having similar problems.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love this Keurig!!

This is my 3rd Keurig machine and it is the best so far!!
I love that once the machine is heated - you do not need to wait for it to reheat every time you want a cup of coffee. Also I feel that the coffee is hotter from this machine then others I have had.

My family loves this appliance. It makes great coffee and we use it regularly for hot tea, iced tea, and iced coffee. It's very easy to clean and the water reservoir holds a nice amount of water for 3 family member to use daily.
