K-Elite has some great improvements!!

Having owned a couple Keurig's over the years I can say this is the best one so far! We just got the K-Elite to replace our K550. The K-Elite has a smaller footprint then the K550 so we get some counter top space back; without sacrificing very much in water capacity "Win". Being able to start put your cup in and select the size of the brew without having to wait for it to warm up "Win". Fit and finish is improved as well. Love that the Handle is metal, feels much sturdier "Win". Only two recommendations for the folks at Keurig. 1. Provide a water reservoir top with a hinged lid so you don't have to take the whole top off and set it down when pouring water in it. 2. Make a small portion of the water reservoir visible from the front so you an see how much water is left in it without having to look at the side. Then this would be a perfect Keurig, I'll throw in that last star as well :)

We just opened our new Elite. Very happy with the ease of setup.This is our 4th Keurig that we have owned over many years.. We really like this new version. The extra large water tank will reduce the the amount of refills to the tank and the 12oz large size is great feature we have not had before.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor construction

I bought the K-Elite to replace a B60 that finally died. I also felt I deserved an upgrade, so the K-Elite seemed like the perfect choice.
I loved the B60 - solid construction, quick brewing, easy maintenance, and most importantly convenient to use.
The only feature I am used to from the B60 is present on the K-Elite: quick brewing. The construction is flimsy, which cheap, ill-fitting pieces (the reservoir lid barely rests on top of the reservoir, don't count on it actually preventing water from escaping if you happen to bump the machine!). The cord is half the length of the one on the B60, maybe 2 feet long at best. I used to be able to spin the B60 around to refill the reservoir from my sink faucet then spin it back around and in place. I can't do that with this model and I've tried. If the cord allows me to move the brewer near the sink for refilling, moving the brewer back into position causes water to spill out all over the place (see comment about the lid, above). I used to be able to see the water level in the reservoir from the front of the B60 - nope, you can't do that with the K-Elite. There is a thin piece of silver plastic over the front of the water reservoir which prevents you from seeing into it. Forget about taking the tank off to fill it then replacing it back in the brewer - again, water spills all over the place trying to re-seat it (have I mentioned the poor design and construction of the lid yet?).
For the amount of money I paid for this machine I expected better materials and construction, a longer power cord, and a water tank I can fill conveniently. I got none of these features. What I did get was a brewer that will brew a cup of coffee quickly and in a 2oz larger size than the B60 would, woo hoo! The good news is it has a 72oz reservoir so at least I don't have to struggle with refills as often.

Makes a Great Strong Cup of Coffee

For years I have refused buy a Keurig k-cup machine in spite of many friends raving about them. The reason is that like my coffee strong and every cup I got out of previous k-cup machine was weak and watery.
I recently took my new Mazda into the dealer for and oil change. They a new Keurig K-Elite machine I tried it out assuming that I would be disappointed as before. To my pleasant surprise, I got very decent cup of strong coffee.
I decided to order the Keurig K-Elite and give it a try. I also got some Peet's Major Dickinson's k-cups... which is my favorite coffee. The coffee from the Keurig K-Elite is very close to the drip coffee maker. Not quite as strong but close enough for me to start using the Keurig K-Elite and to store drip machine as backup.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Spits coffee everywhere

Had them replace it and the same thing if not worse
Very disappointed that our old keurig died and they have stopped making it.
Now we have to cleanup everytime we brew

SECOND KEURIG COFFEE MACHINE IN THREE YEARS

1st Keurig (classic) lasted for 13 months. It worked well for 8 months then no matter which cup size I picked it never produced that amount. I decided to use the descale solution sold on website. It worked for a couple more months then it would take a long time to start to brew or the water would not stop dripping or it would just shut off by itself.
I received the K-Elite as a gift to replace the classic. It worked great until less and less coffee was dispensed. Again, I used the descale solution sold by Keurig.
It worked but after the cup of coffee was dispensed, it kept dripping so much that it would almost fill the reservoir.
Soon afterwards water started to leak from the bottom of the coffee maker. I could not determine where the leak came from. It must have been leaking for a while because the table it was on was water logged.
I actually love the professionalism and helpfulness of their customer service department but unfortunately their coffee makers are not up to par.
Judging from the other reviews these issues are not new to Keurig coffee models.
Keurig stop selling these products until these issues are addressed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Value for Money

I bought the Keurig K-Elite on May 25, 2023, to replace my older Keurig coffee maker which I had for almost 12 years. I'm a self-proclaimed coffee lover and addict. I also own an espresso machine and many artisanal coffee-making utensils. The K-elite is easy to set up and operate. Some reviewers have pointed out the machine is not as quiet as other coffee makers. While this may (or not) be the case, the sound it makes while heating the water is not a concern whatsoever. This machine makes very good American-style coffee, which I prefer during morning hours. Overall, I find the K-Elite to be very good value for money. Hence my five-star rating.
I would recommend this to a friend!
