Good Product

I've had this product for over a year and love it. However the only problem is a poor design or quality on the plastic water reservoir. Bump it and it breaks very easily. On my 3 replacement now.
This is our 5th or 6th Keurig. We use it for anywhere between 6 and 8 cups of coffee daily, so the machine gets a LOT of use. I love that this new Elite has a much larger reservoir for the water. It will take almost an entire Brita pitcher. That was always one of the things I disliked about previous models. So, thank you for that! I do wish the directions for the Auto on/off were a little clearer. It took us a bit of time to figure out.
Waited for a while to write my review, I did like my old 2.0 better for various reasons, but this one is OK. The best feature this one has is not having to wait for reheating before brewing your next cup. It does take less counter space but I did like the larger reservoir on my old model. Also had to get used to the reservoir lid not being hinged to fill! I had to train myself to not just flip it completely off! lol! It looks nice & works well.
So easy to use, no fuss no mess. Brews great coffee in the blink of an eye.

Disappointment Compared to Past K-Elite Makers
on December 30, 2020

I purchased this coffee maker to replace my current K-Elite Single Serve Coffee Maker as a birthday gift for myself. There was nothing wrong with the old one and I gave it to a friend who couldn't afford a Keurig. Now, I'm sorry I didn't keep the original one and give my friend this "new" machine. There is no door on the water reservoir and you have to take the entire top off after sliding the machine out so you can see where the water level is from the side. There is no front view allowing you to see when the water is low and from what I can see, no indicator letting you know the water level in the reservoir is low. So unless you want to play a guessing game, you have to make sure you fill the reservoir after making your final cup of coffee for the day. The controls are on top of basically a flat surface which makes it extremely hard to see. Again, I have to slide the machine out to the edge of my counter to be able to see the controls to ensure I am hitting the correct button. I use a large 16 oz. mug for my coffee and always click on the 12 oz. button; however, the amount of coffee that is brewed is minimal. I don't know who determines the 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12oz(s), but their measurements are sorely off by a lot! I have to brew the same pod twice in order to get a reasonably full cup of coffee. Additionally, compared to the older model, this new K-Elite could wake the dead it is so loud. I gave it 2 stars because I do like the low profile base that my mug sits on and I can get a larger cup under the dispenser. Additionally, I found the programming to be easy to schedule the coffee maker to turn on and turn off automatically. However, these positives DO NOT make up for the points where this coffee maker is sorely lacking, especially given the price you pay for one of these units. I don't mind spending the money if the unit I am purchasing exceeds all of my expectations. Sorry Keurig, you definitely let down this long time Keurig user.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
