Very pleased with this coffee maker. I single brew first in the morning and start the pot for my thermos. I also love the iced coffee option. The extra space in the water tank, works very well for my mornings. The coffee pods, have been a wonderful addition to my regular morning brew.

I was excited to see that Keurig made a coffee maker/single cup combo. I had one before made by another company and the water tank leaked. We then used another coffee maker brand and had a separate small Keurig. I am spoiled. This Keurig Gen 2 has a couple of issues that I am not happy with. We love the single cup side. It works better than our old small one. The coffee pot side has no way to adjust shut off time. It is two hours whether you want it that or not. I will not drink coffee that old. Also, you can only make a minimum of 6 cups at a time. When my husband is not home, I like to make 3 cups. That way, I can have a cup and then have a refill. Keurig pods are too expensive to have to make two cups for a refill. This wastes too much coffee. The hot plate does not keep the coffee pot hot enough and there is no way to adjust the temperature of it.

The heating plate will automatically turn on after a carafe brew and stay on for 2 hours. Press and hold the CUPS button for 3 seconds to turn the heating plate off and on.
