Small compact great for smaller rooms

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This device is great for small rooms such as bedrooms or even apartments. The sound quality is definitely an improvement to a set of speakers from a flat screen TV I would recommend buying this especially for the price point. It is definitely worth purchasing for an upgrade until you can afford something with a subwoofer or more expensive with more bass and channels.

A great way to upgrade your entertainment system

Great sound for built in woofer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It makes things sound better ! I recently got internet the soundbars mounted on the walls and the sound is much better. At night sometimes I forget it’s late ! I’m use to the noise and thrill. Love Samsung products.

Great if you pike 2 remotes

Got this for my parents 2022 samsung smart tv. Connected easily via optical cable. Sounds good.
But don't think the Samsung tv remote will control the volume on the sound bar. Just won't. So my parents are stuck using the small sound bar remote which is small and hard to read. Disappointed at this VERY BASIC miss bu Samsung.

Hi Jason,
We appreciate you taking a moment to leave a review for the HW-C400 Soundbar.
As long as your soundbar is connected to your TV with either an optical cable you can control the volume and mute the soundbar using your Samsung TV's remote. The soundbar should also turn on and off with the TV.
1. Use the TV remote to navigate to Settings, select Sound, and then select Sound Output on your Samsung TV.
2. Select your Samsung soundbar, and then select Close. Now you can use your TV remote to adjust volume and mute the soundbar. The soundbar should also turn on and off with the TV.
By default, Samsung TV remotes should be able to control Samsung soundbars. If it isn't working, be sure the soundbar is powered on, and then press and hold the WOOFER button up until "ON - TV REMOTE" appears on the display (about 5 seconds). Next, you'll need to choose between connecting with an optical cable or an HDMI cable.
