Creality K1C: a solid and functional tool. My best printer ever.

I've been involved in 3d printing since the stone age in 2014. I've had 4 or 5 printers across the years, and even my Creality Enter S1 was something of a tinkering toy. I unboxed the K1C and have been treating it like my HP Laser paper printer. It Just Works. I had a bit of a kerfuffle with some new filament and bed adhesion, but I adjusted the bed temperature, and of the 30 or so prints I've done, those bed temp issues were the ONLY failures.
With the speed, I've printed things I never tried before, as 24 hours of printing time was unreasonable in my situation.
I've done some external mods to improve filament routing and loading, and now have 3 filaments at the ready at all times (2 in the dual dryer box I got with my combo, and one on the back spool), running through ptfe tubing to a top mount so I can switch colors almost as fast as the auto-changer. :)
I haven't run 'hot' filaments, but even just for PLA/PLA+, I am impressed with the K1C. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

The k1c does not have an all metal gear extruder as is claimed... After about 2 weeks of use it stripped out already. Very disappointed. Order a bamboo labs printer instead

As far as a newbie, a little more nuance than I expected. The speed settings are what frustrate me, constantly getting overridden by the gcode. This matters especially when you’re using generic PLA.

Nice Unit, needs work.

Easy to set up and use, I'd rather an option to be connected only through LAN instead of the "cloud". I will not trust the included flash drive, however the option to use one instead is nice.
3 stars seeing how my specific unit had issues and died on the first day of testing basic prints. There is a number of pinch and tension points for the filament that also had to be fixed out of the box, including the PTFE tube not being long enough to avoid pinching the filament when printing near corners of the print bed.
Gluing the wire connections for the parts that commonly need service as well as not including a service manual, instead relying on youtube videos whos existance is not mentioned anywhere left me feeling the company does not believe in right to repair.
My first attempt reaching out for support was responded to extremely prompt, however actually getting help troubleshooting issues and getting warranty parts felt more like pulling teeth.

When i received my printer setting it up was pretty simple as i have never owned a 3d printer. I researched many printers from your competitors and yours looked like one that would easy to learn 3d printing. The printer is unable to find my wifi so the camera is no good to me and after my second print of the benchy the nozzle jammed and i had to take the extruder apart to fix this issue with the included filament that was sent with the printer. And i cant connect with it unless i use a long usb cable and thats not possible as i cant have it close to my work desk . I would love to have the capacity to print in multiple colors but not sure i will spend the money to upgrade to your cfs and thats what i was looking forward to .
