K1 Max with added CFS upgrade

The printer itself is a dream and a massive upgrade over my old 1st gen Creality C-10 (7 years old maybe?). Completely happy with the Max.
However, the CFS is good but I’ve had two issues. 1) The CFS itself, and the Space Pi dryer Plus that came with the Max as part of a bundle, RAALLY should be integrated into a single 4 spool system that provides multi-color *and* does heat and humidity. 2) I have yet to get a quality print since the CFS upgrade two days ago. The issue is print adhesion when switching colors (PLA to PLA). I have not yet contacted support, and it’s likely just a matter of some adjustments, but why not sell a K1 Max with the upgrade already installed?
Overall though the printer is great, 5 stars. The CFS upgrade… the jury is still out.

We just set up the printer and the gears for the extruder are busted. We can't print anything, it was a gift for my husband, an upgrade from his old 3d printer. How can the gears be busted coming out of the box??
