Received my printer in excellent condition and started printing day one. The hyperpla prints really well, but I have had no issues with PLA or TPU either. Have printed multiple models without incident, but instructions on use could be a bit better. One of the complaints that I have is documentation on how to find or use different settings. Took me a while to figure out how to use pressure advance, but found that it has to be enabled on the printer, and you can't just use one click print. The print has to be started from the printer, with calibration enabled. The other thing I have found that is lacking is the slicer that you have to use. I find that Orca slicer works much better and faster for my other printers and is easier to use. The browser page for interacting with the printer is also very lack luster. I find that Mainsail is leaps and bounds above the page that Creality provides. Don't get me wrong, the printer is fantastic, but I think they could do a lot better in the interface and the slicer, or allow the user to use a different program altogether.

Right out of the box I was able to complete complex prints that never worked on my other printer. The speed is so fast that I’m worried that things will fail and yet they don’t. My first printer was great but after spending money on upgrades and spare parts I had spent nearly to cost of this printer.
I love the idea of the LiDAR and the Ai detection but I haven’t had failures yet. I’m very impressed and excited to keep printing into the future.
This is my firs WiFi managed printer and it is a time saver. It also allows me to remotely monitor my prints. Let’s face it, watching the printer is mesmerizing so I have to be careful how much time I spend looking at it away from home.
The only downside has been that the fans are pretty loud. That being said I had no problem cooling my prints or had the ghosting waves I had before.

Creality K1 max is worth your while. I really like this printer. I mostly use it for TPU prints.

my first Creality printer and first core XY style printer. Out of the box experience has been near flawless. The only hard part for me was loading the filament to the extruder at first, but then I got the hang of it after a few filament changes. This printer is FAST and reliable. I just slice, print, and forget until its done.

I was a little skeptical about buying the K1 Max with some of the first reviews coming out about the smaller K1. The constant delays in launch made me wonder what was going on. I now know they were using initial customer feedback to refine the product before launch. Safe to say Creality has definitely made improvements as customer feedback as come in. I unboxed it, followed the directions for initial setup ( installed the filament, remove the 3 shipping screws on the bed). I printed the little boat Benchie. It came out flawless. My old printer ( Anet A8 ) never came even close to this quality even when it was in its prime and perfectly tuned. I could not believe how well it handles overhangs without support. If you just want to buy a 3D printer and know its going to make perfect prints out of the box. you can't go wrong with the K1 Max. Unlike a lot of printers that are limited to the lower temperature filaments. This thing is designed to handle almost everything. Knowing that if a project required extreme strength I would be capable of printing the higher temp filaments is great piece of mind. They have definitely thought of everything when they designed this thing. Its been worth every penny, and exceeded my expectations!

So far so good. Great super fast printer. Only drawback I have to experience is that it is very very loud when running on stock settings. Also lets get that PEI board out so I don't have to use glue! Great product and I have made several recommendations for it already.

So far no issues here. It was very easy to take out and setup quickly. One minor suggestion is that especially on this big printer is the transit screws on the bed are the same size as the ones that are supposed to be there to attach to the z rods, this makes it possible for someone to accidentally undo the wrong screw with the allen wrench especially the one buried at the back of the printer where it is hard to seeI of course printed off the built in benchy and the calibration cube, however I assume everyone will be sharing those.
So I decided to find something bigger and slice it myself. I found this model https://www.crealitycloud.com/model-detail/6480c40c7a0d86ce45627343 on creality cloud and figured my niece might like it for her upcomming birthday. So I got the files loaded all 3 easily on the big k1 max bed and printed it out. The dragon printed easily all the parts freely move and the wings popped right into the body with no issues.
So far haven't printed with other materials but very impressed with what I have been able to see and do. The ease of setup and use on my K1 max makes my S1 Pro look very hard and complicated by comparison. I like that the core x-y makes the printer not require significantly more of a footprint than the S1 pro but you get more than double the volume, a faster printer and an enclosed printer.
Obviously there will need to be a lot more testing with different types of materials and I want to do some more functional prints but with the big articulated multi-piece dragon figured it was a good test and there was 0 stringing or any other issues that I could find on it.
