Being new to 3D printing, I was quite concerned about the setup process. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how straightforward and simple it turned out to be, except for the tiny print on the instructions (fortunately, there's a PDF on the included SD card to address that).

This printer is incredible... when paired up with the hyper PLA especially it's just magic. I recently tried to get into printing with a three years out of date printing and let me tell you this is an entirely different world. Setup and on my way to printing in a matter of hours and I am not kidding when I say this thing has _not failed once_. The only exception being one coaster attempt where the filament got tied up on itself.! My last printer had a maybe 12% success rate and this things nearly been 100%. The software in the display is MILES better too, each model actually shows up on the display - and the WiFi print option through the new and improved slicer is VERY nice... no need for a USB stick if you don't want to deal with it! So far I've printed a D20 utility die, dice tower, a couple of coasters and the Creality calibration cube which came with the device... everything has been phenomenal quality with only minor imperfections/stringing on occassion... nothing unmanageable though! Overall this is the ease of print workhorse I needed in my life and I'm dang happy with it. :]

So far the machine is mostly behaving though I did have a scare thinking the hotend got clogged and come to find out it was the PTFE tube between the hotend and the loading PTFE and so far haven't had issues with that since. One thing that does cause me a slight issue is trying to load filament as the way the PTFE tube curves doesn't really lead straight into the Extruder so I have to fiddle with the PTFE tube typically to get it to feed into the extruder now and than.
Has some minor ghosting, but nothing too horrible that the part won't look decent, though given the price you would think it would be less than it is.
Also not a fan of the Slicer and being tied into that as it is lacking settings I am used to seeing and the ones I am seeing I am not always entirely certain how they will effect things, but I am more partial to Orca Slicer as of now due to owning two Bambu Labs machines so I know how to tweak settings in those slicers better. I would be using Orca Slicer with this machine as well but I cannot figure out the End G-Code so when the print finishes the head will move back to home, as is I have tried a couple of times and always have to baby sit the print to watch for the print to finish so I can move the print head off the print in time which is highly aggravating hence having to use Creality Print Slicer. Overall though even with that gripe the prints still turn out well enough to be sellable and or mechanically sound.
I have a photo of a couple of prints that came off the K1 Max and they don't look too bad, not quite as good as the Bambu Labs printers I have, but I have had time to tweak the settings to get the 2 of those machines running and printing as perfectly as I can get them, and given that I haven't done much of anything other than slow print speeds down I would say the print quality is more or less on par with how my prints looked when I first got the Bambu Labs printers which means given time I should be able to get this printer to print at or near the same quality as the Bambu Labs printers though I do wish it could have the ability for Multi Colored prints short of having to add pauses to prints to do so.

Even with ASA, the adhesion was superb without any additional tools, and all this at a blazing speed! Working with it is really enjoyable. I might replace my other printers one by one with this model.

Got my Creality K1 Max and I'm thrilled! The print volume is larger, it comes with a camera and lidar. So far, I've had excellent prints with the K1, no failed prints yet. Even if it were to happen in the future, the K1 would warn and stop the print, preventing any wasted filament. I highly recommend this printer, it's so much fun to use.

The printer has a heated build platform and an enclosed build area, which was essential for me. The print results are excellent for a printer in this price range. I am completely satisfied. I buy the materials directly from the manufacturer, even though there are alternative offers available.

My first impression was very positive. I had previously used the smaller K1 model, and in comparison, the K1 Max had a cleaner build. Setting up the K1 Max took much less time than its smaller counterpart. The only issue I encountered was that the filament goes through the Bowden and the filament sensor with some difficulty. However, the revised extruder is much more powerful.
