[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First let me qualify by saying that I've come to the conclusion that glass cooktops are the worst invention ever. So it's not just this one - except that I paid a fortune for it. They're just way to sensitive to surface damage. Scratch and pit easily, very unforgiving. I'm not that hard on it but I hate it that I have to be so careful. For the cost it should be more resilient.
And the heat for cooking is inconsistent which makes cooking very frustrating. Another big black mark against it. So absolutely not a fan.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love it but ...

I love it's looks, but it's so hard to get and keep clean. Splatters and finger prints show all to much, and it takes a long time of cleaning and wiping to get the streaks off. If I don't turn on the overhead light in the kitchen, the temp setting is hard to see on the burner knobs. Also It's slow to heat up, even when on high it takes too long to boil water. My 20 + year old Jenn Air's smooth surface was much easier to clean and keep clean.

Cooks evenly, boils water quickly, clean up is so easy-that was a shock to me.
And it looks gorgeous!!
