I bought this monitor a few years ago & I for a couple months I had a good time with it, everything worked great. However, after like 6 months severe image retention started to happen and the previous screen would appear almost as a burnin after it sitting there for more then 5 minutes. Don’t buy this monitor.

Very amazing monitor, the colors are nice and vibrant, and the controls and tweaking is very easy, Although I don't use the speakers much they are loud and have good audio quality as well.
Excellent monitor minus the HDR. I could never get it to look the way I personally wanted. Upgraded to the ASUS OLED a month ago and still use this one as my secondary. I've had it for 3 yrs now if my memory is correct. Would recommend
It's a great budget 1440p monitor, i wish the speakers were a little bit better and the brightness never seems quite right, but i love the overdrive feature 165hz gaming has been pretty awesome on this monitor!
Nice monitor although I don't game. It has a crisp clear picture and Iv'e only had it a couple of days. wish it had a few more adjustments but overall a good but.
This is the first gaming monitor that I've ever owed and it's absolutely amazing. It's really big, has an amazing display, it can be raised and tilted so you're always comfortable using it in any position. It's a great wide screen resolution, 2K graphics look great, and it still looks amazing with DLSS 3 upscaling technology. I bought one for me and my boyfriend at the same time and we both love it so much. It's one of the best purchases I've ever made. I use my gaming laptop to hook up to it with a Thunderbolt 4 cable and it plugs and plays so easily. I could go on and on about how much I love this gaming monitor but I'll stop. It's amazing, A++ would recommend and buy again.
I hate that I have to use DisplayLink to use both of my monitors at the same time for computer use. And it's disappointing that they both can't stay at 120+ hz. As a single monitor, it works great and the 2k resolution with ~140 hz looks great.

Dear Redpanda,
We do understand your disappointment with the product and the inconvenience this may have caused if you need to use DisplayLink to used both monitors.
You don't need to use a DisplayLink to setup dual monitor using two identical model. You can connect the first monitor to a DisplayPort and the other monitor to the HDMI port if the PC has multiple monitor ports. The refresh rate will stay at 120+Hz on both monitors, as long as the GPU on the PC meets the system requirements of the monitor. If it does meet requirements, please check if the PC is running with the most current graphics driver.
Should you need further assistance with the monitor, please email me at cl-rodel@asus.com and I would be more than happy to help. Clean and sharp picture. Not bad for the money. I did have a frozen pixel (red) in the middle of the screen that would not go away. I powered off for a while and that fixed it. The speakers have no base so they sound tinny. Maybe it’s my setup. Overall I’m satisfied with the monitor.
