I hated that there is no battery and I have to remember to charge it all the time. The features were ok, but can be a little busy when looking at targets. The Z82 is not for me.

Powerful tool that helps enhance the game

Purchased my Z82 to pair up with my S70 and CT10 sensors. It might seem a bit much but getting the extra details from the Z82 helps with choosing the right club. It’s not just the distance to the flag but how much room in front or back of the flag that lets me know if I have the right club in hand. Having a rechargeable battery is a definite plus! I’m in the habit of charging my speaker for my next round so I just add my Z82 to the lineup. Battery life has been exceptional and I definitely encourage you to consider this amazing range finder.

Great rangefinder. My only complaint is the view thru the rangefinder seems animated or not very clear.

Great merging of technologies. Still some issues.

Firstly, the device is definitely a game changer. It does feel like it's almost cheating.
Pros:
- Lasering a flag and knowing how much space you have from the front/back/left/right
- All hazards are tagged and you can flip between them.
- Knowing the distances for blind tee shots
- Battery lasts 4.5 18-Holes
Pros:

Cons
- The 'case' sucks. It's super tight and unusable during play. I use a Callaway range finder clamshell case for it. MAKE a CLAMSHELL case Garmin like the Z80.
- Sometimes it doesn't hit the flag but the tree, HOWEVER you know it missed because the yellow line across the green doesn't show up
- No magnetic side. Can't put a magnetic wrap as the original case is too tight.

Unlike other rangefinders

I really like this rangefinder, screen is ultra clear and features unlike any other.
Only reason I didn’t give it a five is the GPS readings aren’t always accurate and leads to confusing.
For example, the pin might show 140 (back pin placement) and back edge of the green show 135.
