I can feel the wood on the top of the desk is very nice. It is not easy to assemble because it is easy to flip two sides around. I do recommend reading all the instructions first and paying attention to details(especially the wholes on the side), or you may have to disassemble it.
Took a little longer than expected to set up, but wasn’t too complicated. It’s used a few days each week in work from home situations. Plenty of storage with shelves and drawers and the el shaped extension affords more than enough room to spread out documents, etc. We have the adjustable section facing a window so that our bird feeder can be seen.
My husband and I took the smaller room so the two boys’ could have bigger rooms to spread their toys out in. Our room is seriously SMALL. This desk made soooo much more space compared to the TV stand we were using. Only complaint my husband had (he is who put it together) the instructions were detailed but not enough. He ended up putting it together and having a left over piece that did not affect the sturdiness so he just went with it. It did take about 2 hours to assemble. Really not the desk or manufacturers fault. Just an FYI. Just make sure to take your time and pay attention to the instructions.
It has a nice sleek look to it and we really loved that you can switch the shelf side to the left because we had a vent that would have been in the way if this wasn’t an option. Altogether we are pleased with thisn desk and would recommend to a friend/family.
I’m starting a new job working from home and really wanted a desk like I had in my prior job. This exceeded my expectations and really is so beautiful. I will say, this did take my husband like 9 hours to build (yikes).. I have no complaints about the alignment on any of the pieces. Other than that, I highly recommend!
