Ended Up Being a Lemon

Worked well at the beginning. Unfortunately, the quality of the product showed over time (after about 6 months). From water not dispensing properly on a regular basis (I had to use a coffee cup to scoop up the hot water) to the lid opening mechanism breaking, it became quite a disappointment. I ended having to keep the lid from closing tightly so that it can be refilled until an appropriate replacement was purchased.
In short, if you're intending on using this hot water dispenser on a regular basis or want something that lasts, then please avoid this one. This product is worth purchasing for occasional users with no expectations that it will last for more than a year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
