2nd Review I've posted for this. The first one seems to have disappeared between when I posted it and when I hit the "Confirm" button in the confirmation email.
Really short this time. I bought this and have since returned it. It took over a half hour to cook a pack of bacon to crispy on it, at the highest heat setting, and after letting it warm up for 10 minutes before putting the bacon on it.
The claimed 2000 watts is very high for a counter top appliance. Actually it should be popping circuit breakers on a 15 amp circuit.
So I tested it using a Kill-A-Watt meter. It's only drawing 1225 Watts. About 61% of the claimed 2000 Watts and in fact less wattage than "regular" countertop griddles that are half this size. Most regular griddles are 1500 watts. (Brand names.) I have an old one from the 80's and it draws 1500 watts.
I took pictures of the testing and included links to Imgur on the first review. Maybe Best Buy doesn't like links in reviews. Or the Marketplace seller has the ability to block/delete bad reviews.
If it disappears again I'll post warning reviews on RFD or other review sites.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cooked breakfast for eight people on Christmas morning and it worked perfect. Lots of room & great quality! Cooked steak and eggs on Boxing Day and it worked perfect for that as well.
