STAY AWAY!!!!!

This printers goes through ink at an alarming rate and once you run out of one color you cannot print until you replace the empty one.
It also requires multiple head cleanings which use up ink. I had about 20% left in my black cartridge and needed to clean the heads 3 times and when I was done the black cartridge was emply and I could not print.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible printer. Installed great, worked once, and never again. Replacing the ink is a joke. The paper doesn't feed through right. TOO HIGH TECH. If you like simplicity this printer is far from it. Buttons don't work. Lights stay on even after filling up ink. Can't just replace black if you're out of another color, all colors that are out must be replaced in order to work. Never been so disgusted with a product in my life.

I was so looking forward to a new printer and this one is so much slower than the one I replaced.

this priner replaces a failed NX125 printer that was under warrantee. The NX127 uses entirely different ink cartridges then the Nx125! This is very wasteful of customer resources. It will be interesting to see if this unit is any better. I am always wary of any product that makes significant engineering changes to a model line and then just increments the model number.

Good printer, scanner and copier for the value. They do offer seperate color cartridges. So when a color runs out you do not have to buy all colors at once. However, there should be an Override function, so can print in Black even if color cartridge is empty!

Its slow, it eats up cartridges. Scaning works but is extremely complicated. Theres no option to print more than one photocopy. Theres no "O.K." button to get it going again after its stopped. The help page is totally unhelpful.

Tried for over 4 hrs to set up new printer. Warning lights remained on showing that ink levels were low. Would not print. Let sit overnight. Next morning printer still showing ink levels low, would not print. Purchased new ink cartridges, installed new ones, ink levels still low, still will not print. Waste of my time and money. Still showing ink levels low, will not print.

Waste of time and ink

I have had more trouble trying to get the paper to feed properly and trying to figure out why it continually prints out "test" sheet. This has used up all my printer carteridges and I didn't even get to print out any pictures of my son or nieces. Now I'm having to rebudget my finances to try to get a new set of cartridges due to the fact that I am currently taking an online course and have materials that I have to print. I've even been printing these in draft form but still my ink is gone. If I can return my printer that is what I plan to do if not I won't keep it, even for what it's cost me, I'll donate it. Thumbs down unless you have money for cartridges every other week. I got my printer on 2/28/11 and didn't begin using it until 3/14/11. What does tell you.
